Courtney's Central Park Creation

Today I'm posting a card from my sweet four year old daughter. She was watching me make my Central Park card for my Stampotique announcement (yes, still squeeing over here!!) and she said THE most wonderful things - "Mom do you think someday I'll be a great artist like you?". Isn't it wonderful being able to see the world through the eyes of a four year old? Mom can do no wrong in her eyes.

As she watched me play with my watercolor crayons, she asked if she could make a card too. So I inked up the stamp for her & let her place it where she wanted, and then set her loose with the watercolor brush. Here's what she came up with:

And here she is, being so careful and working so hard on her card. That's right, shirts are optional in our house. HA!

Thanks for humoring me with my kids' art. Kid art makes me soooo happy!

Take care,

  4. Oh I just love Courtney's card. I also like the alliteration - Courtney's Card. You have a budding artist, my dear. I know you will continue to encourage and inspire her. Love the shirtless look. Pure unabashed innocence.
