March My Monthly Hero - Release + Giveaway!

It's My Monthly Hero release day at Hero Arts! You should have found me by way of my sweet friend Amy Tsuruta's blog. If not, head back to the Hero Arts blog to start at the beginning of today's blog hop!

So speaking of hopping.... this month's kit and add-ons have a theme very near and dear to my heart. BUNNIES!! And then they threw in gardening. Hello!! Two things I love. Yay!! My first project uses the main kit, and is one I made for the Hero Arts website.

I love the die included in the kit, perfect for "planting" your veggies. And both the bunnies and veggies are so much fun to color with Copics. The papers and burlap I used here are all included in the kit. And that raffia will be used to tie up your kit - be sure to save it and use it!

Next, I used an *adorable* new Paper Layering Rabbit die. If you're not familiar with Hero's paper layering dies - they are so much fun. You can either cut the image directly into your card layer (as I did here), or if they come with a frame, you can cut it out as a stand-alone piece to add to a project.

For today's card, I watercolored the sweet little bunny. The message is from the main kit.

Another optional add-on this month is a beautiful set of Fresh Herbs. Herbs happen to be one of my favorite things to grow in my own garden, so I am totally in love with this stamp set. I used the Fresh Foliage ink cube set, with perfect shades of green for herbs and veggies. And the tag is from the Tag Infinity Dies. The message is from the add-on stamp set Egg-cellent.

And one last card, in case you missed it. I shared this sweet little card on the Hero Arts blog last Thursday. I love coloring all of the sweet little images in the Welcome Home stamp set so much!!

Here's a look at the main March My Monthly Hero kit, isn't it adorable??

And I'm part of an amazing blog hop today! Please visit all of the links below, and leave comments as you go! Hero Arts is giving away a kit to one lucky commenter, drawn from the comments left on all of the blogs. You have until Sunday, March 12 at 11:59pm to get your comments in.
