The last installment of Hambo Week...

This marks the end of Hambo Week here on the ol' blog - but it's certainly not the last time you'll see me using a Hambo stamp on a project!! But as for this project - I really stink at altering things, so please be kind. ;-) I found this cute little watering can in the dollar bin at Michael's and felt the need to do SOMETHING with it, but I wasn't sure what. So this is what happened. I just love this little Flower Pot Girl stamp, I think she is *me*. Ok, maybe Tim and Monica didn't even know me when she was drawn, but still... somehow, they drew me on a stamp. LOL! The Flower Pot Girl is just stuck on there with dimensionals after covering the pot with some DP and ribbon. I also bought a little 99 cent sprig of daisies at Mike's and cut them apart to put them in the can. I wanted to think of something cute to put in the can to make this a little giftable thing, but I drew a blank. Any ideas? What would you have put in there? Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!! Thanks for stopping by.

  7. Hey, Libby. How cute -- maybe if you put a little floral foam in it to push up the flower a little more. You could always add a gift card to a nursery and/or a pack of flower seeds to make it a bigger gift, but it's great the way it is. I love the stamp -- it is you!!

  9. This is absolutely darling, Libby! You don't stink at altering at all. I think it's totally giftable just the way it is. I'm not very good at thinking up things to put in alterables but maybe it could contain earthy, botanical cosmetic type products--hand cream, gift soap, a little body spritzer, facial scrub or mask. There's a whole line of Dirty Girl products. A lot of nursery gift shops have garden themed toiletries. Bath and Body Works has great stuff. Something along those lines.
