I don't know why buttcracks appeal so much to me, but they sure do! LOL! I fell in love with this
Harvest Moon image as soon as I saw it last year, and I'm so thrilled that Hambo has since come out with a couple more additions to the buttcrack family, as well as more funny sentiments to go with them. I mean how perfect is this - BUMMER!?!? LMAO! Oh and by the way, remember how I always claim that the super cute
Flower Pot Girl stamp is *me* - well sadly, this one is probably a lot more accurate. LOL! I actually made this card a couple weeks ago, for the
Color Throwdown #30 challenge - I had it done before the challenge ended but silly me, never got around to posting it!! I really struggled with these colors - Tangerine Tango, Brilliant Blue & Ballet Blue - but in the end rather like how it turned out. I used the lids of my ink pads to watercolor this one - something I haven't done in ages since I'm so obsessed with my Copics - so that was a little difficult, too, remembering how to watercolor!! But, I love watercoloring and really need to remember to do it more often! Thanks for stopping by - have a great weekend!!
- Stamps: Harvest Moon and Bummer from Hambo Stamps
- Paper: Brilliant Blue, Ballet Blue, Watercolor paper, Paper Studio DP
- Ink: Stazon, various colors for watercoloring with the ink in the lids
- Accessories: Cuttlebug & Swiss Dots, aquapainter, orange brads, SU oval punches
I also want to send out a great big thank you for all of your well wishes and prayers for my mom! She is doing much better, they even released her from the hospital already. Since this occurred while she was sleeping, they think it may be due to apnea - she wasn't breathing while asleep, which caused the angina when her heart didn't receive enough oxygen. She's waiting for some test results on that. Hopefully they can figure it out, so it doesn't happen again! Thanks again, you are all the sweetest blogging friends a girl could ask for!! xoxoxoxo
ROFL! Thanks for the good chuckle! Great card, Libby! Maybe I will finally reciprocate this weekend and create a Courtney's Closet challenge!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your mom is better - and home - that's good! DH has apnea and it can do all kinds of wierd things to you. Hopefully that is all it is as they have lots of things to do to treat apnea. Great card, might have to get me some of those cute images! ~chris
