Hey chickie!

I have another American Art Stamp card for you today - and it's one of their recent Easter releases called "Bunny with Chicks". I really don't know how they come up with these clever names! LOL! I love the little "Hey Chickie!" sentiment with it. I can see myself using that on many other cards, even ones without fluffy chicks. :-) You can find the sentiment along with the "Bunny with Chicks" in the Spring Chickie cling set. This card started out as an attempt to play along with Jen's most recent Sketch For You To Try, but I didn't quite follow the sketch completely. I like the colors on the card - that little polka dotted DP is one of the latest textured papers from Stampin' Up - I loooove their textured DPs, they are heavyweight and oh so yummy! The yellow cardstock has nice texture too, it's the Archiver's brand in Marigold. Since I was on a texture kick, I added some to the bunny and chickies too, with Fun Flock on the bunny and Fun Fluff on the chickies! I think those are basically the same thing, just different name brands - and in this case in different colors. Alright - time to get this posted and head to my stamp room - not to stamp, but to VACUUM!! I actually found the floor in there last night!!! I haven't vacuumed in ages because there was no uncovered carpet TO vacuum!! LOL! I think I'm also going to take some photos, and take you on a little tour of the Stamp Cave tonight or tomorrow - so come back by for that! Until then - happy stamping!
