Our Craft Lounge Sneak Peeks - Day 2

Well it's Day 2 of the Our Craft Lounge peeks, are you excited!?!?! I am!!!! I went around and checked out all the links yesterday, wow there were some AWESOME cards!! And I officially have a new hero now too. Two words: Debbie Corbari. Oh my wow!!! Not only did she illustrate yesterday's spooky set, but she cut out that adorable tree that was a tad bit challenging to cut out not just once like me (gosh I am a wimp!) but TWICE for her project!! I am in awe. (and I heard a rumor she actually had to cut it three times for reasons I will not divulge since I do not blab secrets about my heroes...) :-) If you didn't check yesterday, go look here. I just love how that tree looks layered like that!! But why am I still talking about yesterday's set?? I have some NEW OCL goodness to show you today!! This time I have a fun wintery set called Purr-fect Wishes. Even though smart people start thinking about their holiday cards this early (and actually end up MAKING them...) I am clearly not a smart person. And because I'm not smart I couldn't bring myself to using traditional holiday colors for this card. So I made this fun pink number instead! Which, although I love it, I am fairly certain my hubby would lay down a veto about it being our holiday card to send out to all of our family and friends. Men! ;-) This kitty set was absolute love at first sight for me - I'm a big cat lover. Hmm maybe I'll just send this card to myself!? HA! The sketch for this card is this week's Mojo Monday Challenge. I chose the DP because I thought it kinda sorta resembled paw prints and/or snowflakes (if you squint). I added some liquid applique for a fun, snowy look - and went over it with StarDust Stickles. At first I only included the "Merry Christmas" sentiment, but I just couldn't resist adding in the "Meow". hee hee So are you lovin' this set or what?? Want to see some more fabby examples of it? Go check out Taylor, Broni & Elena. And then hit the brand new Our Craft Lounge *blog* for the complete directory of today's ten sneak peeks. Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. I think it is absolutely adorable and would make a great holiday card! Maybe you could do it in greens instead of pinks or something? And I totally thought they were paw prints on the paper until I looked closer.
