I'm trying to get back into the groove of teaching card classes in my home on a regular basis - so far I've only managed one, but I do have big plans for the new year!! And on a related note - anyone have good ideas for card classes they could share? hee hee
Here's what we did at my first class, which was holiday-themed and focused on, of course, all wonderful Hero Arts stamps!! I'll go ahead and start out with my favorite of the bunch. The gorgeous Stunning Snowflakes background was stamped in white pigment ink on a Hero Arts kraft notecard. It just called out to me to add tons of bling & Stickles!!I'd love to drink some "holiday cheer" in a red glittery cup like this, LOL! I tried out my Tulip Puffy Paint for foam on my cocoa from the Cozy Moments set - it worked just like Liquid Applique, yay! It's MUCH easier to find in the local craft stores. And yes, I said it was holiday "cheer" but then called it "cocoa" - I'm not telling what I added to my cocoa.... :-DThis card is a CASE of a card I created a while back - I loved the sketch for round stamps like this one, also from Cozy Moments. The white border is colored in with a gel pen. I found the yummy velvety rick-racky ribbon by the spool at Archivers, fun!And finally - THIS CARD IS NOT MY DESIGN - it's a complete CASE of one of Lisa's cards from the Hero Arts blog. If you like it, she even did a video tutorial for it, so awesome! Thanks for stopping by today!
