My Mother's Day isn't perfect. Hubby is in Asia. Kids are not listening to my repeated requests to help pick up the house. Reading on Facebook about all my mom friends being pampered by sweetness. Was getting frustrated - but then I sat down and looked through some photos.
This is what it's all about. And now I'm enjoying my Happy To Be A Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day Libby!!
ReplyDeleteYou are a wonderful mum...:-) They are a little bit young to be able to share with you how much you mean to them but the rewards come every day don't they?
what a sweet picture Mommy!
ReplyDeleteAww, that picture is just way too adorable! I agree with the comment above, that they are very young, and still don't realize yet. But i'm sure they will appreciate things more as they grow. I can't say that I was always the most "helpful" daughter either, when I was younger. But I definitely appreciate my mom now. LoL... Hope you have a fabulous Mothers Day!!! And hope your husband comes back home soon! :)
ReplyDeleteoh.....How sweet is this!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's day ,Libby!
Yep, you got it right! And that picture will become even sweeter as they get older.....
ReplyDeleteVery cute.....me for one...am glad Mother's Day is over....it was too much work...lol...I tried to email you but when I hit the send button and the code came up, then the send button was gone....oh well...scroll on down on this post and here are some brand new stamps you "might" be interested in

Pure sweetness, Libby!! A belated Happy Mom's Day to you!!
ReplyDeleteThey are darling. Totally darling. Maybe hubs will treat you when he gets back in the country!! :)
ReplyDeleteHang in there--I know how you feel. Mine are now 18 and 12 and I think this was the first "relaxing" Mother's Day I've had. When they were younger, they wanted nothing to do with me and/or were just nasty. It does get better with time...just remember how cute they are!
ReplyDeleteAw...what a cute photo and so happy you found your 'inner' peace and happiness. It's so hard being a mom, isn't it? Boy I tell you! I've found out that this is probably the hardest job I'll ever have! My hat goes off to you!
