I used this adorable Christmas Stockings stamp from Hero Arts and added our names to the stockings. Each stocking is cut out and popped up for a little extra somethin-somethin. I thought it would be a fairly simple card to mass produce. Until I spent the time coloring and cutting out and die cutting and cuttlebugging one of them, LOL!!
Before I go, want to see my cuties with Santa? Oh I know you do!! hee hee
Alrighty, off to stamp another little somethin-somethin for Texas Tuesday. See y'all tomorrow!
- Stamps: K5254 Christmas Stocking, CL343 Holiday Sayings from Hero Arts
- Paper: Stampin' Up Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, GP white
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic markers
- Accessories: Spellbinders die, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, machine stitching
I think it's super! Take a picture and then make some photo cards for everyone! Ha! Cute Santa pic too!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute santa pic! Love your card-- the personalized stockings are so clever and your coloring is GREAT! And I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only stamper who hasn't done my Christmas cards yet! ;)
ReplyDeleteLove you sweet card Libby and it is so nice to see you back in the blogging world again. Super cute photo of the munchkins too :)
ReplyDeleteDarling card but would take some doing to mass produce unless you could cut it out with a cricut or something! Look how your babies have grown!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's not always easy to make quick cards...the process is the FUN part, right?! But I'm sure you'll figure out the fast ones...(tick tock tick tock!). Love your little ons with Santa! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card, I'm not even stamping my own this year so you are NOT a bad stamper!
ReplyDeleteVery cute card - I really like how colorful and bright it is. You are definitely not alone in not having a clue what your cards will be (or if they will be at all) - I'm in the same boat. We get too busy! Great pix of the kids with Santa too. ~chris
ReplyDeleteI love this Christmas card, but yea, making 80 of them would take forever! The pics of your kiddies is too cute! Precious memories!
ReplyDeleteOH, this is so colorful and cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you added the names on the card. What an adorable picture too!
Oh Libby - isn't this a thoughtful and personal card? Would take a decade and a half to mass-produce though, you're right *chuckle*. Adorable photo of the kids - TFS! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs, Hannah
This card rocks!!! But I imagine making 80 of those - would take a year! :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable photo of your sweet Cs!!! LOVE Carter's sweater -- where did you get it? I think another little boy named Carter needs one! And that card is adorable. Can't imagine making 80 of 'em, but I can imagine putting it in a little shadow box and making it a permanent part of your family's Christmas decor. Just send a pic of the kids and let yourself off the hook (that's what I do). :)
