I played with one of my favorite Unity stamp sets ever for this card - Brave Girl Boots. They partnered with the fabulous brave girl herself, Melody Ross for this one. The color palette came from my favorite challenge, The Play Date Cafe!
Mine turned out rather pinkalicious. But I'm diggin' it. I wish you could see those boots in real life, I cut them out & popped them up, and then coated them with a thick layer of Glossy Accents. While it was wet I sprinkled a dab of glitter over it. So pretty!
Now make sure and check out what my Texas Tuesday friends are up to today, it sounds like EVERYONE played this week, yay!! (Jennifer's will be coming a little later in the day.) They are listed over there on my sidebar. And now I'm off to check out what they created myself!
Happy Stamping,
- Stamps: Brave Girl Boots from Unity Stamp Co
- Paper: Stampin' Up Sahara Sand, Cameo Coral, GP white, Bo Bunny DP
- Ink: Stampin' Up Pixie Pink, Ranger Distress Vintage Photo

Libby, I am diggin' the pinks too! I love all the added elements. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteBee-u-tee-full Libby! Perfect in every way!
ReplyDeleteYee Haw! Love the pinks and I know what you mean about brave. I have the middle one starting kindergarten this year, will have one in middle school, elementary school and preschool/daycare. I have a few years before the big 40, but I hear that it can definitely treat you well.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, the cowboy boots work well with pinks/browns.
I love your Brave card! How perfect and pink it is!!
ReplyDeleteYee Haw Libby! Love this boots collage! Brave-O!
ReplyDeleteI love it. I've been seeing a lot of sewing on your cards lately. Is this in any way connected to dusting off the sewing machine for some capes?
ReplyDeleteAwesome in pink! Love the boots! I have another year before 40 but gosh I need a face lift or something!
ReplyDeletegreat card Libby - the boots look so fantastic all sparkly - love that ruched ribbon at the bottom too.
ReplyDeletePretty in Pink, as they say. Very beautiful. And dang it... another set I need to get after looking at your blog. Stop that! :p
ReplyDeleteI don't need to see those boots in real life, they are fab in the pict. Love the glitter and all of the pinkaliciousness.
ReplyDeletelove it - and 40 isn't so bad!
ReplyDeleteLibby, I absolutely love this card! What a great fun combo and all that pink makes me think of Susan Koman. This would be a great way to say to someone who survived cancer- "way to go, you were brave!" :)
ReplyDeleteLovely card! and lovely colors! I've not bought any Unity products yet, but your card tells me that I must do that ... and soon!
ReplyDeleteFabuloous card Libby!!!! I am a sucker for glitter!!! AND 40 is just a number :) Am I the senior one of the group??? LOL!!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be two sobbing mommies together! My son starts school this fall as well :(
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous girlie!
I've said it before but THIS is why you were chosen for the world's greatest design team! : )
ReplyDeleteSo wonderfully fun and colorful indeed!
Pinkalicious is right! That is a card sure to please even Andrea Ewen, a professed pink lover! What a fun card, Libby.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this card! LOVE all the pinks and those boots! Super fun!! Thanks so much for joining in the fun over at the Cafe and for playing along with us at PDCC:}
ReplyDeleteLOVE those boots!! What an awesome card!! Now about the brave thing...ya, the kindy thing will be a tough one. It was rough on us, there were so many tears and sobs and "don't go's" and then my son shushed me and said I was embarrassing him! LOL!
ReplyDeleteNow, the 40 thing I can't help you with. I've been 39 four times and don't have a clue what turning 40 is all about! ;D
So, stinkin' cute, Libby! Just lovin' it! Way to put elements together so cohesively!
ReplyDeleteI might go cowgirl if I found those fabulous boots in real life. ;-) Wow, are they cute! I like your pinkalicious card. lol
ReplyDeleteI love this card- the sentiment and the image are so perfect and unlike things I've seen before! Great word for the year, too! Hugs, my friend!!
