Seven weeks have already flown by in 2011, wow. That doesn't really seem possible! And I've kept up with weekly posts for seven weeks - that's even more amazing!! Here's this week's summary, it was a fun week! Sorry for the poor image quality, a lot of these were taken with my not-very-smart phone. :-)
We kicked off the new week by going to a casino night party for my friend's 40th birthday. I learned to play craps!! Well, sort of. That is one complicated game! It was fun though - between craps and roulette, I won about $25k or so. Too bad it was play money, LOL! But I suppose if I were in Vegas, I'd be a bit more hesitant throwing around the $5000 chips...
I already shared what we did for Valentine's Day in this post, but I also got to go to a little muffin breakfast at Carter's preschool class on Monday morning. Carter was cooperative as always for the photo...
Carter loves playing with his toy animals. This week I suggested he sort them into categories, land, sea or tree. He liked this new thing to do with them!
This week was "observation day" at Courtney's dance class, so Carter and I got to sit in the back of the room and watch what she's been learning. It was A-DOR-A-BLE!!!!
On Tuesday I had a rare night out by myself, and got to listen to one of my favorite humanitarians, President Jimmy Carter, speak at the LBJ Presidential Library. See that white dot? That's his head!
My sister got to get a bit closer...!!
On Thursday we had lunch with Daddy at his work. Always a fun outing!
Courtney had another fun week of playing dress-up. There was the usual princess-dress-wearing. But she also spent some time as Jessie, as I shared in my last post. And she got into Carter's things, including his soccer clothes...
And here's the cutest little Spiderman I've ever seen!
And finally, Carter got his soccer uniform back from his sister and was happy to put it back on once again! Saturday was "skills day", a little practice & evaluation before the season begins. He's looking forward to joining a new team this spring!
Thanks for stopping by!
