I chose to play with blues for my card...
I inked up one of my favorite DeNami stamps, Scrapbook Girls, and embossed these lovely crafty chicks in white. I gave their blouses a little sparkle with a Stardust gel pen, which is of course hard to photograph...!
I never - or at least, very rarely - put my main image on a colored sheet of cardstock, so this was fun to try!
Now hop on over and check out what Amy Smidebush created, it's gorgeous! And if you're feeling inspired to make your own monochromatic card now, link it up on the DeNami blog - they are giving away a spot in the next hop plus few stamps to a lucky stamper who plays along!!
And thanks for stopping by. If you came by earlier, my sincere apologies. Today has been a comedy of errors as far as getting a card posted. Guess it had been too long, I forgot how! HA! (actually, in all my house purging and packing, I *completely* misplaced the USB cable to get my photos from camera to computer - doh! Then when I finally found it, I realized that since I just got my hard drive replaced on my laptop, I no longer have photoshop, so I messed around searching for my photoshop disks and finally threw in the towel and downloaded Gimp. Good times!)
As I was saying - thanks for stopping by. :-)
