Today I'm working with Asela's adorable Bella Ballerina!
I squealed when I saw this image because, well, I have a thing for sweet little ballerinas! Especially when they only wear one leg warmer. :-)
I love that the messages included with the image are "Have a beautiful day!" (I will use it to make little cards to stash in Courtney's lunchbox!) and "Thank you" (I will make cards for Courtney's ballet teacher!).
The rolled flowers are supposed to mimic the roses in Bella Ballerina's hand. I made simple spiral-cut flowers. I was going to use a fancy die to do them, but I had a bit of a craftastrophe. My die is currently jammed inside my Big Shot. Don't ask. How I will get it out, I am not at all sure. Sigh.
I played along with Jen's Sketch For You To Try for March - that makes me three for three this year, woohoo!
Now head on over to the Hambo Hoedown - it is the official site of Asela's launch, and one of her images is this week's freebie if you play along! You'll also find links to all the Bacon Bit blogs - we're all featuring different images from Asela's new line!
Thanks for stopping by!
- Stamps: Bella Ballerina digi image from Hop Art Designs/Hambo Stamps
- Paper: SU pink, Bo Bunny pink DP, GP white
- Ink: Printer ink, Copic markers

OMGosh! How sweet is that! Hugs Asela
ReplyDeleteAnother Hambo line! Sweet!
ReplyDeleteAnd I pray for your Big Shot. I jammed a die into mine a year or so ago. There's a 3-yr warranty on them, so act fast!
Cuteness all round on this card, love your rolled roses and that photo of C is too beautiful, she really is such a grown up little girl now..hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the flowers!
ReplyDeleteI think this is my fave image from the new line. Too bad about your Big Shot!!!, but your flowers are cute!!

ReplyDeleteSweet card Libby. I love the soft colors & your rolled flowers are perfect for this image. Your little ballerina is a cutie too!
ReplyDeleteSuper post, Libby! LOVE your rolled flowers. Can you believe I have never made one? With dies or not! And your die issues mimic mine sort of -- I totally cracked my C plate for the first time ever (have never had to replace a plate in years!) so can't cut out anything on my CB! Good luck with the jam.... Your card is so sweet and adorable - just like your little ballerina!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so adorable! Of course with that little cutie to be your model, how could you go wrong! Those flowers are beautiful; I hope your Big Shot will come around and give up that stuck die! Thanks for supporting Operation Write Home and for joining our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!
