The other day I was rummaging through the bins in my stamp room, which still haven't been organized & settled since we moved here last summer. It's a task I do not look forward to, so it may never happen! But I noticed in one of the drawers a little 6"x6" canvas, and yesterday I decided to dig it out and have some fun with it!
I love playing with my Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paints. I'm no artist, but they sure make me feel like one! I used my craft sheet as a palette and just began lying down color. Once the background was dry, I added some wonderful Texana Designs stamps, using Archival Ink since it would work over top of the acrylic paint. The Texas birdhouse and little Texas plants in the foreground are all Texana stamps, as well as the sentiment up in the sky. :-)
It was fun to play with this - I highly recommend going outside your comfort zone and just playing every now & then!
