Today I have a truly Texas card for you. A horned toad!!
I actually saw some of these when I lived in Texas. They would be clinging to the trunk of our live oak tree, blending in with the bark. Pretty neat! But I'll admit I prefer the stamped kind over the actual lizards. :-) And this happens to be a Horned Toad stamp from Texana Designs!
The colors for my card were inspired by the latest Play Date Cafe challenge. Aren't they purdy?
And holy smokes, when I was looking at the Play Date Cafe site just now I finally noticed that they included me in their Fab Four this past week for my bicycle card! Woohoo! Thank you PDCC team, I love you guys!
Thanks for stopping by,

oh my goodness, your card brought back so many memories, I was raised in S. Tex, right at the Mex. border. We lived not far from an arroya, and there were so many of these little guys, we used to catch the baby ones and wear them on our shoulders, our parents would make us let them go at the end of the day. cute cute card, hugs
ReplyDeleteOh heck...you KNOW we love you to and still have that foot in the door for ya!
ReplyDeleteYour card last week was great & this one is absolutely you! So glad to have you back stampin' and we're really happy to have you in The Cafe!

ReplyDeletesuper cool card~thanks for playing this week at PDCC!
ReplyDeleteFun card Libby! Although I might be a tad terrified if I ran across a toad like this! Texans are definitely built of sturdier stuff than us New Yorkers:). Congrats on the Fab 4 shutout! Your washi tape card was cool! I thought of you during the Tour de France this year as I remembered how much you love cycling:)
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the colors - I hope you'll link up at 52 Card Pickup this week!
