It's Stampotique Designers Challenge time, and this week I'm hosting! Who doesn't love a bit of text on a project? It's very popular these days, and for good reason. I just love a dictionary definition or an old book page when it makes an appearance on a card or canvas. So that's the challenge this week - use some sort of TEXT on your project. Anything goes - just text me! :-)
I love this funky little guy from Stampotique Originals - he's called Phineas and he just looks like the sort of character to me that would say "greetings and salutations". The text I used is from an old book page - I have a little copy of The Three Musketeers I bought at a used bookstore a while back, just for using on my projects. I suppose it's sort of a crime to tear out those pages - but at least it's being loved on many, many cards!
The layout of the card is the latest from Retrosketches, flipped.
Now I hope you'll head on over to the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog, check out what my teammates came up with, and join us this week!
Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteFun card Libby - that character is fabulous and I love your colours. I have a huge old dictionary that I friend bought for me at a garage sale that I use for cards... no sign of it running out any time soon!

ReplyDeleteA great card! Love the colour and little guy. Was engrossed trying to read the text too!
ReplyDeleteI'm also a huge bookpage fan - love seeing text hovering within a project! My first time playing along with Stampotique... though I've been admiring the DT work for a while now!
