Did you get any right? Hmm... bikes?? No way. Shocking, isn't it? Ha! For my bike ATC I used a ton of different Hero Arts stamps. Clouds, Envelope Pattern lightly in the grass, a bike from Joy Ride, the banner from Life of the Party Birthday, and the message from My Happy. Which is fitting, because bikes are my happy!
ATC #2 represents my love of aquariums and all of the creatures of the ocean. The shells are from Antique Engravings, the message from Oh Snap, and there is Friend Definition in the background. I stamped it all on some Sticky Back Canvas, and blended on some Distress inks.
This is probably my favorite ATC of the bunch. It represents both my love of gardening, and also the fact that poppies are my favorite flower. I don't know that I've ever seen them this blue, but I think Delicate Blossoms looks pretty awesome in this color. After I colored them with Copics, I masked them off and used Friend Definition again, a bunch of Distress ink and Glimmer Mist on the background. This ATC has a fun shimmer to it!
Next - yeeeeehaw - my love of Texas. Surely you saw that one coming. ;-) The girl is from Howdy and there's Magical Background stamped lightly in the background. The stars were added with white pigment ink.
ATC #5 makes me happy too - it represents my love of cooking and my love of eating yummy veggies! I don't generally eat veggies that are looking back at me, but these veggies from Kiss the Cook are too cute to resist!
And finally, ATC #6 - I love NYC! I really do love NYC, but I'm not entirely sure it's in my top six things on the planet. BUT, I created this fun misted background, and the water splotches looked like clouds in a night sky to me, soooooo I grabbed my Skyline stamp I've been dying to use and made a city scene. I printed off the iconic I *heart* NYC logo from the computer.
This was so much fun!! I'm glad Heather organized the swap, it was fun to create on such a small scale, and especially while playing with themes that make me happy! Heather shared these ATCs over on her blog too (she's the sweetest!) and I'll be sharing hers here once they arrive. I cannot wait to see what Heather made, I know it will be wonderful!!
Thanks for stopping by,

ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous Libby - ATC's are fun, and I quite like creating on such a small scxale, when I get time.
ReplyDeleteLove the NY one - the background really 'makes' it.
