I mean really, how could I resist making a yellow sheep card?
I used my OWH Missing You set from Hero Arts - the expression of this adorable little sheep is kind of perfect as they look somewhat in shock that they are yellow. I spelled out "allez" (ie GO! in French) using the Typewriter Letters and drew the word bubble myself - of course those yellow sheep were cheering for the boys! The grass was made with some nifty fringe scissors. No, I don't know who I'd actually send this card to. LOL!! Sometimes it's just fun to be silly.
One of the many things I love about the Tour de France is all of the amazing roadside art that people create - always huge so the helicopters can film it. How awesome is this sheep??

And because the area loves their sheep, organizers asked the local knitting ladies of Harrogate to knit buntings to hang around town. Little hand-knit leader jerseys strung together. Craftiness at le Tour! Love this so much! These are some photos of my tv, sorry for the quality...
Yay sheep!! Can't wait to see what England shares with us today!
Stamps: CL756 OWH Missing You, CL492 Typewriter Letters from Hero Arts
Paper: Neenah white, Hero Arts Grass (ha!)
Ink: Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black, Hero Arts black, Copic markers
Other: Corner rounder, Martha Stewart fringe scissors, black pen, scissors
Adorable!!

ReplyDeleteLOVE your yellow sheep card! I knew they spray-painted color spots on them for identification purposes (at least in Ireland they do), but coloring the whole herd of sheep! Genius!
