This particular kit comes with the poinsettia stamps, matching dies and five mini ink cubes. For today's card, I decided to give the poinsettias an "aged" look, and coated them with Distress crackle paint after stamping and die-cutting. (I was inspired to dig out the crackle paint after watching Jenn Shurkus use it on some gorgoeus leaves!) Once the cracks formed, I rubbed a bit of vintage photo Distress ink in, to enhance that "aged" look. Do you recognize that background stamp? It's an older one from Hero Arts, called Starburst Lace. Still one of my favorites!
The My Monthly Hero kit launches in the Hero Arts store today. It is only available while supplies last, so if you're interested in it, I suggest you hurry on over - I have a feeling this is going to sell out quickly!
