Purple Poinsettias

I said I needed to make a purple poinsettia card. And tonight I did it! The card is much prettier in person - late night photos don't work out so well for me. But I couldn't resist posting it anyway!

I used the Color Layering Poinsettias and matching dies from the October My Monthly Hero kit. I love me some layered poinsettias! The top layer is silver, which looks really shimmery and cool in real life. And the centers are covered in Stickles. I also pulled out vellum and my sewing machine. This card is all about using my oldie but goodie favorites!

I wanted to add ribbon or twine to the card, but had nothing in a correct color. Problem solved! I just colored regular twine with a Copic marker.
