Hero Arts December Kit!

Hello! It's My Monthly Hero launch day at Hero Arts - and I am so in love this this month's kit!! I've recently been bitten by the planner bug, and this kit is all about goal planning! For today's post, I'm sharing a fun little planner "layout" I did - both to record some important dates, but also to get myself excited about an upcoming daunting task...!

So here's the deal... my daughter is a Girl Scout. And this year I'll be my daughter's troop's cookie mom. We have a huge troop of twenty girls! I'm a wee bit nervous about taking this on, I hope it all goes well! So... to start getting myself into Cookie Mode, I bought a simple, inexpensive planner at the drugstore to be my dedicated "Girl Scout planner"!

I absolutely love all of the little motivational sayings between the two stamp sets included in the kit! They are 2.5" x 6" stamp sets, matching the size of the rest of the Hero Arts Clearly Kelly line of planner stamps. Included sentiments are "Little Steps Big Dreams" - perfect for a little girl stepping her way across our neighborhood, knocking on doors - and "you got this!" and "high five" and "dream it, do it." - all perfect! But one I especially love is "have fun" - because really, that's what I want her to be doing with this. I taped in a couple photos of her having fun at her cookie booths last year, to remind me of how much she enjoyed it, and how much she learned about confidence, handling money, and the kindness of strangers.

I get the stamps early as prototypes, so in the actual kits the stamps will have the correct labels. But don't they look kind of fun stained with neon ink? LOL! No, I'm most definitely not one to mind if my stamps are stained, I know they still work fabulously even when they are neon! :)

I added a couple of other stamp sets to my calendar layout - I had fun making the little banners at the top by combining Kelly's Planner Banners with the Alpha Tabs set - those are some of my favorite alphabet stamps, along with Kelly's Outline Letters!

Here's a look at the entire kit, along with the stamps are three SUPER FUN mini ink daubers. I've already made several checklists using the circle stamps from the kit and those daubers. There's also four badges, designed by Kelly Purkey!

Several other stampers are sharing projects made with the kit today - be sure to check them out!

Her stamps are right there to take on the go and add to your planner--so many appropriate ones for everyone! Not limited or too specific! I love the additional sets of stamps, too. The kit is a great starting point and really all you need as well.
