Hero Arts + Pinkfresh Studio: Celebrating our Industry

I am hopping with an amazing group of stampers today to introduce the latest "Partners" collaboration stamp set. Pinkfresh Studio has teamed up with Hero Arts to create an absolutely gorgeous stamp set called You Make a Difference. You should have found me by way of Lea Lawson's blog. If you didn't, be sure to head back to the Hero Arts blog to start at the very beginning of this hop.

Here's my card created with this new stamp set.

I began by stamping the floral image using Hero Arts Unicorn White pigment ink on Pitch Black hite cardstock. I then colored the image with my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, in some place covering the white ink, and in others leaving just a bit of it showing. I love coloring on black cardstock with colored pencils, it's one of my very favorite techniques!

I embossed one of the FABULOUS messages from this set in white embossing powder on vellum cardstock, then die cut with my oval die. I did a bit of a messy job with my glue - unfortunately it shows more on the photo than it actually does in real life.

Now it's time to hop! From here you'll head over to Nichol Spohr's blog. I can't wait to see what she made! Be sure to comment on every blog in the hop - there are great prized up for grabs. On person will win the You Make a Difference stamp set:
One lucky commenter will win a $25 shopping spree at Hero Arts.

And one other commenter will receive a $25 shopping spree at Pinkfresh Studio.
