I signed up for a
swap over at Splitcoast where the theme was to actually USE some of the gazillion dollar stamps you feel compelled to buy at Michael's!! Please tell me I'm not the only one who cannot resist them, even though I seem to just collect them more than USE them? I mean c'mon, they're only a DOLLAR!? They practically fly into my cart on their own when I'm there... :-) Some of them are just sooooo cute - resistance is futile! Like this Valentine's Day sentiment! Love it! The double-line circle is part of the stamp - I colored it in with white gel pen. The color scheme came from this week's
challenge over at the Color Throwdown blog - Kraft, Pink Passion and Black. What a great combo!! And WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT RIBBON?!?!? I found it at Archiver's this weekend - American Crafts - velvet scallop ribbon!!!! Be still my heart!! I went all old-school on this card and added staples - I still love staples, even if they are no longer en vogue. :-) This card is so simple, but I just love it! And since it was for a swap - gotta love simple!!! Ahhh, it's Valentine's season and I'm just full of love today! ;-) Thanks for stopping by today!
