Another scrappy card

This is a card I "threw together" with some things that were sitting on my desk, leftovers from creating other cards. I had just finished my card for Nancy's latest workshop, and was still in a "scrappy" mood. The chipboard flower was lying out because I had traced around it to make the paper flower on that same previous card - I just colored it red with a Copic marker. The patterned paper was also something I had been trying to make work on another card, but it wasn't happening, so it was also lying out. I'm not sure what the green scallop border was leftover from, maybe this card? So I just threw it all together - and I think it worked out into something rather cute!! That sentiment is the same one from Hambo Stamps that I used on the last card I posted. And speaking of Nancy's card workshop, I checked her blog last night and learned that I am the random winner of a RAK for playing along! I'll be getting a little something sent all the way from The Netherlands - what fun!

OK now that I've told you about the card - I also have to mention what a fun day I've had today! I went to a movie! Yeah!! I love watching movies, but I can't really remember what I saw last in the theater. Tuesdays are "baby days" at a theater here in town - so I could just bring Courtney along with me! Carter is at school on Tuesday mornings - I have to pick him up at 2pm, and often the first movie doesn't start early enough to fit it in so I haven't brought Courtney before. But today's started at 11am - so I had enough time. And what did I see, you are wondering? INDIANA JONES!!! Let me just say - I loved it!! I was nervous - I loved Raiders & The Last Crusade sooo much, I didn't want this movie to be a complete stinker and have Harrison Ford just seem ridiculous trying to play it again. Well he didn't at all, he was the same old Indy that I know and love. It was a lot of fun. And Courtney was a sweet little angel baby during the movie - even took a nap in my arms despite the loud action scenes. Yeah!! Hopefully next Tuesday I can drag her along with me to Sex and the City! :-)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Also, I am jealous that Courtney already got to see the new Indiana Jones. I cannot wait to go see him, too. :)
