Aloha!

Well it's another day, another sketch challenge for me! This time I got to play along with SC196. Yay! I haven't played an SCS challenge on the day it was issued in soooo long, it was fun to get back in the swing of things. Once again I played with some Hambo stamps (can you tell my design team commitments are due at the end of the month...? *wink*) - my Hambo stamps are so much fun to color!! And speaking of coloring - see that little palm tree charm? It was silver, but I didn't like the look of it on the card - so I colored it brown with my Copic marker!! How cool is that? The paper the "aloha" sentiment is on was white and I just colored that an orangey-red color to match the flower DP. Oh how I love my markers. LOL. Well it's a quick post today - I can't think of anything else interesting to say (and that assumes what I've said up to this point was even interesting...!). Tune back in tomorrow - HOPEFULLY I'll have a From Courtney's Closet post for you, assuming the stamping gods agree with me tonight. There's also a bunch of fun stuff coming up on the ol' blog in the next week - a FireCracker blog hop on Saturday, a Hambo design team challenge on Monday, and another Hambo Week which will include a little somethin' somethin' you won't want to miss. ;-) So... c'mon back now, ya hear? :-)

  2. I love your palm tree charm! How cute! I also like your touches of twine and the embossed background which seems to be a perfect fit for your pineapples. Great sketch, too!
