Share the Joy

Today I have a quick and easy Hero Arts card for you:

I love this new Get Merry! set. For the background rectangle, I began by inking up an acrylic block - yes, just the block! I learned this trick from my friend Sally on the Hero Arts blog, and Lisa also shared it in a tutorial. Then I just stamped Falling Snowflakes in the same shade of blue right over the rectangle - I love how it looks like a blustery cold little scene!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I just *love* the simplicity of this card. What a brilliant idea to use the acrylic block for the shape and outline!! I've gotta try that! ♥

  2. Beautiful! I have to try this technique!

  3. LIBBY! Love the dark blue, this is just awesome! You took the technique to a whole new level, girl! :)

  4. Your card is gorgeous, Libby! I love the wonderful bg - looks like a lovely snowy sky. The trees are so beautiful too!

I always enjoy your comments - thanks so much for taking the time to leave one!
