The Play Date Cafe Challenge #67

I am sooooo in love with this week's colors for The Play Date Cafe challenge! They aren't necessarily anything I would have put together on my own, but I had a ton of fun making this card!

I used the watercolor crayon technique I mentioned in yesterday's post, coloring directly onto the stamp - in this case, the gorgeous Hero Arts Starburst Lace. Do any of you recognize the words I stamped?

It's from a letter Beethoven wrote to his "immortal beloved". But are any of you Sex and the City fans?? So here's the deal - I have a couple movies that I've watched, or at least listened to, about 50 gazillion times now because I put them in while I'm stamping. The first Sex and the City movie is one of them. And I just loooove when Big whispers this Beethoven quote to Carrie at the end - *sigh*. So I've been itching to put it onto a card, and I figured with Valentine's coming up, THIS was the card! :-) I stamped out the words with the Typewriter Letters set from Hero Arts. The little felt bird that I added was a recent dollar bin find at Michael's, it makes me happy.

So here's the gorgeous inspiration from Ruby this week! Such a gorgeous flower.

Sweet Ruby is also sponsoring this week's challenge, visit the PDCC blog for all the details!

And now be sure to visit my PDCC sisters and see what they've created - it's all AMAZING!!
