Elegant Trees

Hello! It's Texas Tuesday, my favorite day of the week to share cards created with my beloved Texana Designs stamps! Although this one doesn't really have a Texas flair...

This card features one of the new Texana Designs stamps for the holidays - a solid tree. I really love how elegant this simple little tree looks when you pair it with gold embossing powder and a script background. Texana also has an outline tree, which could be combined with the solid image or used on it's own. Christmas Words Background is the perfect compliment to my gold trees.

Tip: No twine to match your project? Color your own. I colored some hemp twine with a blue Copic to match my blue paper.

I'll be back soon with more of the Texana Designs holiday goodies - including some images that will make ya holler YEEHAW!

(In all my years living in Texas - I'm the only person I actually heard say "yeehaw". I thought you should know.)

Bye.

Stamps: Texana Designs (JC02 Tree-Sol, TD172 Christmas Words Background)
Paper: Neenah (Solar White), MFT (Blu Raspberry)
Ink: Hero Arts (Red Royal), Versamark, blue Copic marker
Other: Victorian Gold embossing powder (source unknown), Enchanted Gold embossing powder (Ranger), hemp twine (Hemptique)

  1. This is elegant simplicity, Libby! Love the trees,of course, but, against that background they shine! I understand why you like these stamps so much!

  3. I like the two colors of gold embossing powder. And the self-colored twine is perfection!
