Here's what I created:
I actually made this card during our World Cardmaking Day live. You can catch the replay HERE. I used one of my favorite techniques when creating with solid stamps! I stamped on dark cardstock (in this case, my beloved Hero Arts Pitch Black!) with Unicorn White pigment ink. Then I used my colored pencils to color the scene.
The Unicorn ink is actually included in this fabulous kit in an ink cube. There is also Sea Salt Reactive Ink in the kit - two different white inks to experiment with! In the live I showed that you can watercolor with the Sea Salt ink, or ink blend it on for a smoother look. I actually did both for this card!
I added a little EarthSafe Iridescent Glitter to the rooftops and along the garland on the tree. It's much prettier in real life than my nonexistent photography skills could capture.
Another thing I love in this kit? The messages all have coordinating dies. Nice!!
Now it's time to hop! Check out what the other artists created this month!
Hurry and grab your kit - once they are gone, they are gone forever! And check out all the fabulous add-ons this month, too!
Here's a look at the full release, for your convenience. I don't use affiliate links - if you are going to shop, I'd love it if you click on a link on the blog of another artist who inspired you!

Love this card!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun way to add color to solid images! Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring!!! (Glitter is definitely a challenge to photograph - I usually have to use an extreme angle to try and capture the shimmer and then it's only a portion.)
ReplyDeleteFantastic card! I love that you coloured the silhouette stamped images!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I watched a video today that and they stamped white on black an then color pencil colored the picture. I didn’t see the card. Was listening at work and sometimes watching. I take it this is the card. I love it.

ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, and your pencil coloring is exquisite! Awesome work!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the sparkle came across beautifully on my computer screen. While it has absolutely been my experience, too, that these things look more beautiful in person, I think you did a great job of photographing and presenting your card.
I've been wanting a new white ink pad. Thanks so much for bringing the Unicorn White and the Sea Salt Reactive White to my attention!
