Hero Arts + Reverse Confetti Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hello! Today I'm thrilled to be hopping with Hero Arts & Reverse Confetti to introduce you to a wonderful new Partners set between the two companies - HA + Reverse Confetti Better Together.

For my card, I mostly just used the coordinating dies! I had a bunch of scrap paper from a project I had previously done. The panels were covered with a wash of watercolor and spritzed with some shimmer spray. I die cut the flower pieces from those scraps, then added a little additional ink blending around the edges.

The message is from the stamp set. There are several nice messages in this stamp set. I love this one - I hope that is what we are doing after this year we've all had - "grow through what you go through".

One of the many things I love about this Partners set is that it supports an important charity - The Human Rights Campaign. The stamp set was designed by Ellie, the teenage daughter of Reverse Confetti owner Jen. They both have a passion for equality and equity, so they chose this charity. I love every single thing about that!

And now it's time to hop along and see what everyone else made! Here's the hop list - so many talented artists! They are giving away $50 gift cards to TWO lucky winners, drawn from comments left across the blog hop. One gift code will be to the Hero Arts store, and the other to Reverse Confetti. Comment on the hop by Thursday, February 25th at 11:59pm pst. The more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances to win! The winners will be announced on the Hero Arts blog.

Reverse Confetti September Release!

Hi friends! Today I'm joining Reverse Confetti for the launch of their September release! You should have arrived here by way of my friend Amy Tsuruta's blog - if you didn't, head over to the Reverse Confetti blog to start at the beginning of this hop!

Today I'm sharing a card featuring the beautiful new Holiday Bough stamp set and matching Confetti Cuts.

I stamped and embossed the images from the set with Hero Arts Brass embossing powder on Pitch Black cardstock, then colored them with my Prismacolor pencils.

Once the coloring was done, I die cut the images then arranged them on a panel I die cut with Center Frame Cover Plate Confetti Cuts, then added a message from Joyful Holiday Wishes, also embossed in brass. The flower centers were finished with a bit of sparkle from Gold Stickles.

When you're shopping, there is an adorable 4x4 stamp set, Peace Tree, which is free with a $60 purchase! You won't want to miss out on that - be sure to check out the details on the Reverse Confetti site!

Now it's time to hop! Next stop is Megan Quinn. Here's the entire hop list:

Reverse Confetti August Release!

I'm thrilled to be joining Reverse Confetti today for their release, featuring a really fabulous stamp set! You should have found your way here from Kara Pogreba's blog - if you didn't, head over to the Reverse Confetti blog to start at the beginning! It's called You Matter, and also has coordinating You Matter Confetti Cuts. I made a few cards with it, and there are many more I want to make!
For my first card, I played with my Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors with this fun circular hands image. After painting, I cut it out with the circle die, layered with some vellum, and popped it up on a watercolored background.
I used a combination of Cocoa, ArtPrint Brown, Strawberry and Purple watercolors on the hands. The "you matter to me" message from the stamp set is stamped in the center.
For my next card, I colored with a variety of colors of Copic markers. I was playing with combinations from Sandy Allnock's Human Rainbow guide, which is such a great resource! I really love the "more love less hate" message from the set!
For my final card, I just did a little blended watercoloring at the bottom of a panel, then die cut the fabulous "love" die.
I die cut the message a couple more times, and layered up the letters as I paper pieced them back into the original panel. A little lacquer pen on top of the heart and some enamel dots finished this card.
Now it's time to hop! Next up is Kathy Schweinfurth - I'm sure she's made something wonderful!

I didn't even touch on the awesome "love is love" aspect of this stamp set, so I'll be creating some rainbows, too!

Thanks for stopping by,

Reverse Confetti Birthday Hop!

Hello! Today I'm thrilled to be joining my friends at Reverse Confetti as they celebrate their 7th birthday!! Jen del Muro is such a wonderful & inspiring person. A great big congratulations to her for bringing wonderful products into this world for seven years! Wow, where does the time go?

I received a couple of fun stamp sets to play with from this month's release. First, an awesome set called Girl Power! It has matching Confetti Cuts, too, although I didn't use them for my cards today. On this first one I did a bit of fussy cutting.

I created a background with my Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks, and watercolored the sweet image with them, too. I cut her out & popped her up with foam tape, and stamped a few hearts from the set. I love the message I used, included in the stamp set.

For my next card, I was inspired by current events.

I made a couple masks from post-it notes to help with the multiple stamping of the fists. Again, I watercolored with my Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks. I am so proud of all of the peaceful protests happening around the country - we truly are stronger together.

For my final card, I used the Friendly Rainbow stamp set, which is a freebie for this release when you spend $60. But instead of using the adorable rainbow image that's in the set, I created my own rainbow background using my Scribble Sticks.

I added a couple of great messages from the freebie set to finish my card.

And now it's time to hop! If you started here at my blog, head back to Reverse Confetti and start at the very beginning!! Otherwise, head on over and see what Jeff Lindberg is up to - I'm sure it's something great! But here's the entire list, if you need it.
