Sorry if I sound obnoxious tooting my own horn, but I really love how this card turned out!! It just makes me happy. :-) I had some girls over tonight for a little stamping. All last year I had a monthly stamp club, and it ended in December. I was going through a little bit of withdrawal and had to have one last girls' night of stamping before the baby invades, er, I mean arrives. So this is one of the cards we did. It's also an SCS challenge two'fer - the colors are
CC150, and the sketch is
SC160. I just love playing the challenges, it makes it soooo much easier to pull together a cute card! The sentiment is from my super cute new Verve Visual set
Wild Thing, which I *won* on
Julee's blog! (yes I am STILL excited that I actually won!!) As soon as I saw this sentiment I knew I had to pair it with the SU Wild About You animals that I adore! And I have to say, Verve Visual's new polymer stamps are nice quality - it stamped well for me right off the bat, which cannot be said about my Hero Arts cupcakes that I am STILL struggling with after treating them with an eraser, a cleaning pad, etc. Two thumbs up for
Verve Visual in my book!! The little elephant and alligator were stamped with craft ink & embossed with Hologram Highlights EP - I didn't realize until somebody on SCS asked me what that was that SU doesn't even carry it anymore!! It's just been sitting in my drawer for ages, collecting dust. Turns out I LOVE IT!! Soooo pretty. Why didn't I realize this a long time ago?? Luckily, for the most part, my stamping supplies don't "expire" - there's still a lot of life left in that little pot of glittery goodness!! Well thanks for stopping by today - I better try to get to sleep at a semi-reasonable hour tonight. I've had a lot of insomnia lately and right now I feel completely exhausted. Baby girl is squirming like crazy - I'd be bumming bigtime if she decided it was time to make her appearance tonight - going into labor already this tired!?! Yikes. I better get to sleep. :-) Night night!

What an absolutely adorable card! I love this EP, too. I have another brand called Iridescent Peacock and it's so pretty. Love this sentiment!
