Here's this week's From Courtney's Closet creation - a card inspired by my baby girl's wardrobe. You need to put on your sunglasses to view this one!!! Boy is it bright! And so many different things going on with it, too. Not entirely sure it works, but what the heck - I like it. And of course my mom ooh'ed and aah'ed again. LOL. Again I chose a photo that doesn't entirely show you all of the elements on Courtney's outfit, but I couldn't resist this one - grabbing her feet, oh so cute! I wanted to use some orange gingham paper on this card but I didn't have any - so I made some! I just used the "chisel" (?) end of my marker and a ruler and voila - gingham paper! And here's an example of "you know you have too many embellishments when..." - as I was putting together that little tag I thought "I wish I had a little tiny heart shaped brad to put on this" and I looked in my box and low and behold, I did!!! Well if the colors on this card don't make you a little nauseous and you'd like to play along with this week's challenge, you know I'd LOVE to see what you come up with! Leave a comment here with a link to your creation and I'll check it out! And if you upload to Splitcoast, just use keyword "FCCC" - I'm dropping the numbering, because it's a wee bit pathetic at this point - many of you "like" my little idea for an inspiration challenge, but very few actually PLAY!!! *hmpft* Although I have to say, Sue continues to be my favorite stamper on the planet (sorry Carole you've been dethroned!), she played again last week for the SECOND time!! A repeat customer. Sweet!! And just look at the ADORABLE card she created based on this outfit. Thanks again Sue, I am so psyched that you are actually playing along!!! Ok I'm racing the clock to get this posted before a "blogger scheduled outage" - let's see if I get this posted in time... I'll add the card recipe later if anyone happens to be interested! Thanks for stopping by today!
