This is too funny!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to understand the current political climate! Very cute. ~chris
ReplyDeleteHahahaha, this is too funny. I guess I know where you stand!?
ReplyDeletegot a chuckle out of Thomas the Tank Engine!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS soooo much!!!!
ReplyDelete:)
I did not see any humor in this at all...sorry, but I am just saying!
ReplyDeleteHow disappointing this is.....It's a shame the ones that are offended by this stay quiet.
ReplyDeleteWould have loved to seen some creativity or great pics of the kids -- but politics - soooo sad you went there
You know, we live in a free country and you should feel like you can say anything you want on your own blog! I understand people disagreeing with your views but you aren't saying anything bad about those people so I see no reason anyone should be offended. Don't stop posting things like this if you feel like posting them. Many of us enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the truth hurts some people; I think this is hysterically funny and apt.
ReplyDeleteWhy do politics have to be such a touchy subject? I've seen political statements on other blogs which, frankly, made me feel disappointed in that person because of their political leanings. Shame on me for my small mind! I didn't go there to get their political views and it shouldn't matter one whit to me. I can either agree or disagree. I have good friends who vote opposite me.
ReplyDeleteI suppose if you post a political statement of sorts you can expect controversy. My own opinions are so strong they could knock you over. This is, however, your blog. It's not preempting anyone's regularly scheduled programming. It's as easy to click off as it is to click on so I see no need for a hue and cry from the masses demanding an end to your self expression. Oh, STOP me, Libby! I'm losing control!
I rarely comment but I must on this. I agree with those who defend your right to put whatever you like on your blog! When did we become such a nation of intolerant, right-fighting people? What about freedom of speech? We all don't need to agree, but we need to allow for a difference of opinion.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I realize you have all the rights in America to state your opinion, how offensive is this?? Something with more substance would defend your position much better. Using this just makes you look ignorant.
ReplyDeleteAlthough, I guess if you really look at the pictures, Obama is an Express Train...if he's elected that is correct, we'll be on an Express train to disaster!
Well, you know I LOVE this, Libby!!! Except that I do think poor Thomas deserves better -- better not show my Carter this, or he will have an existential crisis... About three years ago -- and I don't recall how this started -- whenever he would get frustrated with something, he would shake his fists, look at the ceiling, and shout "Al Gore!!!" I think he was trying to say "If only..."
ReplyDeletePS -- Don't let the turkeys who disagree with you get you down. This is YOUR blog and you can say whatever you darn well please. If others don't like it, they can blurf on down the road. And, if they choose to rage against your post by making a crummy comment, well, they're probably just dreading the change that's now seeming inevitable... :)
I finally got my card on my blog.

Super duper. I think if people agreed with your POV, they would have said as much. They are only horrified when someone else's worldview doesn't correspond with their own!
ReplyDeleteHow weird for people to tell you what to post on your own blog!
ReplyDeleteI rarely comment, and only found your blog through Beate's today--I'm enjoying your stamping and have to say that I laughed out loud when I saw this. Too funny! And this is America--you have the right to free speech--enjoy the freedoms our country gives us!
