Stacey hosts a neat challenge every week that I've been wanting to play for ages - well tonight I finally did it! She picks some jewelry, and challenges us to use the colors from that piece to make a paper project. Something about this past week's inspiration, probably the turquoise color, shouted out to me that it would go well with this wonderful stamp I picked up at the expo in San Antonio in the
Rubbernecker booth. Isn't she gorgeous?? She was lots of fun to color, too - although it took me F-O-R-E-V-E-R!!! Too many little details.
But, I think it was worth the effort, I like how she turned out. You probably can't tell in the photo, but I went over most of the colors in her wrap with my Spica glitter pens, so it has nice shimmer IRL. I also played along with the first ever sketch challenge over on
Paper Craft Planet. Have you guys checked out that site yet?? I tell ya, I am completely addicted to it! It's fun! If you are there, make sure and say hi and add me as your "friend". I like to have friends. :-) And fyi - Stacey posts a new jewelry inspiration challenge on her blog every Sunday, so head on over and check it out! (I just looked -
the next one is already up - I better get this thing posted if I'm going to meet her deadline...!!!) Thanks for stopping by today! :-)
