I also have to show you some patriotic cookies my sister and I made - she works at the Lyndon Baines Johnson Presidential Library here in Austin, and she took them into work for their little Inauguration Day viewing party. I know many of you who read this are slightly more conservative than I am (LMAO - I am a total bleeding heart liberal, I'm sure you all know that by now - and if that bothers you enough to leave me nasty comments about it, hopefully you unsubscribed long ago!) - anyway - we had a ton of fun making these cookies! And I am so incredibly proud to be an American this week. Even if you don't agree with President Obama's politics, you have to be proud of the fact that our country has finally overcome some UGLY chapters in our history book. Yay us! :-) Thanks for stopping by today!

ReplyDeleteDang it!! Why do you guys live so far away????? I would love to craft with you two. The cookies look awesome and I laughed when I saw them. (In a good Republican way of course)!
ReplyDeleteYou and Laura are very talented and I miss you both!!!
Nice job on the cookies, Libby!!! I'm another BHL, so no worries there. I missed the whole inauguration on TV, so I'm looking for it on the internet. I'm proud and happy to be an American this week!!
ReplyDeleteI'm about as conservative as it gets, but that doesn't mean we can't be blogging friends!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty darn cool card--notice you managed to get the polka dots in there. Love it! Love the cookies, too--wow!! What a day... I was at work and the coverage in the evening was pretty poor, I thought. I did see the speech on the internet, though.
ReplyDeleteWerent those Snap Stamps just the greatest thing? I dont know WHY they discontinued them ...
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! I love your cookies and card!
