Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you all have enjoyed your Valentine's Day! To be honest, I didn't. My hubby had to leave early this morning on a business trip, and I spent most of last night and today taking care of my sick son Carter. Although I do have to admit, getting to spend most of the last 24 hours cuddling with my sweet boy wasn't all bad! But it did break my heart to hear him cry about a tummy ache and feel so hot with fever. He seems like he's doing much better now though - hopefully he'll get a good night's sleep tonight and be back to himself tomorrow. And thankfully my wonderful sister and mom came over today to help out, and my mom is actually spending the night as well, in case things take another turn for the worse tonight...

Thank you for the sweet comments after yesterday's post, how nice to hear from some of you that you missed me! xoxo Yesterday I shared the Valentines I made for Courtney's class - here are the ones for Carter:I used a cute little robot image I won on one of Hambo Stamp's One & Done auctions. They do these auctions every Thursday - post a digital image and whoever has the highest bid in the comments wins. Since I won this robot, I am the only stamper in the entire world who will ever get to play with this cute image. How cool is that!?? I can't wait to see what Tim's drawn up for this week's auction - make sure and tune into their blog and try to outbid me! :) I colored the robot with my Prismacolor pencils & odorless mineral spirits, and added a cute little "screw" brad I bought from Gina K's store. The message is from Hero Arts.

Ok I'm off to sleep, I'm exhausted! Here's hoping no little pumpkins wake up in the night tonight. Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Aww...hope your little one feels better real soon! So tough on kids this time of the year!! I know for my guy, it's hard when they have a cold and they can't breathe while they sleep...poor things! I love both versions of your V-Day cards!!
