Lookie lookie I colored!

Last night I decided to give coloring a go. I had painted a rocket ship on Carter's face at the children's museum earlier in the day without even thinking as I did it "wait, I can't grip a paintbrush!" so I figured my hand must be doing well. :-) Turns out, though, coloring was a little bit more challenging. I only colored a small image and it was still a bit achy as I did it. But lookie lookie, I colored a Hambo! WOOHOO!!

Good timing that I colored a Hambo, because I want to tell you about a HUGE HAMBO SALE!!! It's TODAY ONLY and it's 50% off EVERYTHING because it's Timbo's 50th birthday this week!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIMBO!!! In honor of your birthday, I made a Christmas card. LOL!! But seriously friends, you don't want to miss this sale. Make sure and hop on over to the Hambo site to read all the deets.

For today's card I played along with the latest Mojo Monday sketch:

I'm not sure I like the black matting and bow, it's kinda dark for a holiday card. But it is what it is, and I actually colored on a card for the first time in a while, so I am happy.

Oh and by the way, here's Carter's rocket ship. :-)

Happy Wednesday! I actually have a post for What's Cookin' Wednesday I want to share too, but it will happen later tonight - wanted to let you know about this awesome Hambo sale first! But tune in later for FRENCH ONION SOUP!! Mmmmm. :-)

  1. How cute is that card?! And how cute is that rocket ship on Carter's face?!?! I lack all coloring skills, so my Copics are probably all dried up. :( But even with you just having surgery your coloring skills are fabby. Beautifully done....as always. :)

  4. I think the black mat and bow are perfect. Makes me think of the red and black Scottish plaid look that is perfect for Christmas.
