So here's my first card that I made for her Week 6 challenge, stamping on different surfaces...
The tree is made from Claudine Hellmuth's Sticky-Back Canvas! In Jennifer's example, she twisted the strips of canvas to form the tree, but I just used the canvas flat, with frayed edges. After I attached it to the triangle, I inked it up with Distress ink. I love how it looks!
The background is Basic Grey from the Jovial line, and I stamped over it with my new favorite Hero Arts background stamp! I'm also loving their self-adhesive lace.
So big thanks to Jennifer for busting me out of my creative slump - I'll be back with another creation inspired by her class tomorrow. :-)
- Stamps: CG222 Music Background, CL343 Holiday Sayings from Hero Arts
- Paper: Kraft CS (Archivers), Basic Grey Jovial DP
- Ink: Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint Distress inks
- Accessories: CH233 Cream self-adhesive lace (Hero Arts), Claudine Hellmuth Sticky-Back Canvas (Ranger), Spellbinders Labels 8 die, ribbon, hemp cord
