The Play Date Cafe Challenge #72

My Studio Paints were still on my desk, so I decided to play with them once again for the week's Play Date Cafe card!

I used this wonderful inspiration piece rounded up by Sarah - a gorgeous journal page by Dina Wakley - as a literal source of inspiration, not just the colors:

First I stamped my Friend Definition in the background, then started piling on the paints.

I loooove these paints so much - they are so creamy and wonderful. They make me feel like an actual artist when I play with them! Once they were dry, I stamped La Lettre right over the paint with black Stazon. The flower on the inspiration piece reminded me of Big & Small Flowers from Hero Arts. I colored it & cut it out, added some paint then coated it with Glossy Accents after attaching it to the card. The flower center is some rope-style ribbon I wound into a circle, then dabbed with a bit more paint. I'm lovin' all the texture!

This week's sponsor for the challenge is Wilson Designs. Yay!!

They've been generous enough to offer up this super cute Everything's Owlright set to this week's winner!

We have a very special guest this week too, Julie Day! Julie has made some amazing cards while playing along with the challenge in the past, so I cannot wait to see what she's created this week! Check out what the rest of the team created too!
