Since I'm inspired by cycling on the blog this month, and since it's our patriotic 4th of July weekend - I thought this would be a great time to dive into the world of Project Life blogging and share pages from our day at the USA Cycling National Championships in Chattanooga, TN over Memorial Day weekend!
I didn't go with a traditional red, white & blue color scheme, instead using the Blu Raspberry from MFT that I seem to be addicted to! I used tons of Hero Arts stamps & inks to make these pages, including some of my favorite new Letters! I used them while creating the title block, the background on our family photo, and in other places throughout the page. There are several adorable new letter sets in the Stamp Your Story catalog, including these and these. Love!! Of course the pages wouldn't be complete without including a bicycle stamp!
I had a ton of fun creating these pages - I just wish the photos were better so you could see all of the details! I need to practice my photography of Project Life pages in plastic. If you have seen any websites with tips, I'd love it if you'd link them up!
Who out there loves letter stamps as much as I do?? I have some duplicates that I'd like to give away to YOU! Leave me a comment and you'll be in the drawing for these two sets - Vintage Alphabet and Days & Months, both from Hero Arts. Comment by Sunday at 8pm EST and I'll post the winner on Monday.
Thanks for stopping by!
Merry Christmas

Wow! You sure have that PL thing down pat! Very creative use of all those wonderful stamps and your great photos! I enjoyed this post very much.
ReplyDeleteVery impressed! Your pages flow great and are not overly busy, which is my biggest problem with the PL layouts. I loved how you divided one photo into the three sections. Thanks for sharing! I have gotten a lot of ideas from you! Keep the pages coming!
ReplyDeleteHey Libby stopped by to see your PL pages and love how you did them. Great color scheme and interesting layouts.
ReplyDeleteLove your pages and how you used the stamps!

ReplyDeleteOoooh, I'd love me some upper case letters! And you took GREAT shots of the pages in their sleeves. Mine would be just so much GAH glare.
ReplyDeleteLove your PL pages Libby! I have to admit, I'm a scrapbooker first and foremost and I've just not seen the attraction to the PL pages. I just didn't see how they could work for me... UNTIL your pages. I love how you split up your photos and corner rounded the inner part of the photo. FUN!! TFS! And thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win some Hero Arts! Love them. And adore your PL pages. I'm so far behind, I'm horrified. And now find other things to do rather than catch up. Gulp!
