Today the Tour de Craft continues with a wonderful guest designer, stopping by all the way from Australia. Please welcome Joy Taylor! We all know what an amazing talent Joy is. Today's card is so gorgeous, I'm honored to share it here on my little ole blog. I've had a lot of fun chatting via Twitter about the Tour de France with Joy! Here's what she has to say about it...
What can I say, between the Tour de France being quite fantastic and Libby's asking me to be a guest for her, what could be better...
Each year I sit to watch the Tour de France and for 3 reasons, 1st as a small child I was and well secretly I am still obsessed with France & Paris and have always wanted to visit and roam around that beautiful country, sigh! So being able to watch it on TV gives me a chance and makes me feel as though I am there, one day my dream will come true. The 2nd reason is well frankly this is the only bike race I take an interest in and find it a thrill to watch, just wish it wasn't on so late down here in my neck of the woods, feeling rather weary these days LOL. The last reason I love to watch the Tour de France is that I get to chat to my wing man as I call her Libby, and we laugh about seeing men with naked butt running up the hills alongside the riders, or sheep running down off the hill to greet the riders, oh and how can I forget the old dude dressed up in a devils suit pulling stupid faces...it is my time of the year to enjoy and laugh with a great friend. Thanks Libby for asking me to be apart of this fun event...
For my card I could not go past putting the Eiffel Tower on there and adding a bit of sparkle with Rock Candy Stickles, I also wanted the French colours on the card, so I masked off an area in the centre and added Navy and Red Royal Mid Tone Shadow inks from Hero Arts, finishing off with an everyday sentiment, simple and CAS just what I like...psst! think I may have to send this one on to my wing man :)
Squee! Did Joy just say *I* will get this gorgeous card?! Woohoo, lucky me!! And here it is...
A huge thanks to Joy for joining me today! Please be sure to visit her blog: Simple by Design
