This Old Timey Frog from Stampotique makes me smile. He's so very serious up there on his old timey bike! And I love love LOVE the fact that Stampotique carries a few sentiment en francais! This frog is saying "Que la vie est belle", or roughly "life is good". (Or more literally, "how beautiful life is") Which is EXACTLY what I'd be saying if I was riding an old timey bike!! I dug deep into my old supplies for this card, and found both a fleur-de-lis embossing folder I had forgotten I owned, as well as that fabby vintage copper brad! Ooh la la!
Yesterday the Tour de France traveled through Brittany. I heard the town of Dinan mentioned during the route and had to go and visit my old photos from the trip my hubs & I took to France way back in 2003, for a little trip down memory lane. Here are a couple of my favorite photos from that beautiful old medieval town. Le sigh. I need to go back!!
Nice hat I'm wearing, eh? LOL! You have no idea how much JOY that silly hat brought me. We were in France in October, and it was really much colder than we expected. I bought that hat on a crazy cold & windy day in Normandy, and it kept me warm and MUCH happier throughout the rest of the trip! I still have that hat and wear it on cold days here. And daydream of being back in France. ;-)
