Stamping Minecraft Style!

I made this card for an 8 year old's birthday.

I really know nothing about the game Minecraft, but all of my son's friends seem to love it. I found this post that included a printable of some of the Minecraft characters & scenery, so I printed them to use on the card. Then I just added some grass cut with my Martha Stewart fringe scissors and die cut an MFT party banner (I used banner triangles for party hats, too) and flat-bottom clouds. And of course, some sparkle on those party hats! (NOTE: that party banner die is only $2.50 in the MFT store right now!!)

My son is just getting into the whole Minecraft-playing thing, but one thing he DOES love is dancing to Gangnam Style. Every Friday night we have family pizza & movie night, followed by a little dance party. EVERY WEEK we have to listen to Gangnam Style during the dance party. Well... then my husband found this video. The kids love it! LOL! If you aren't familiar with the Gangnam Style video - this is JUST like it. But with Minecraft characters & lyrics. Really well done, actually!

So now you know about the exciting Friday nights in our house!

Thanks for stopping by,
