I had a ton of fun playing with the Hero Arts Need Caffeine set - I love this cute little latte! You won't even guess how many THINGS I did to it, LOL! I stamped it with Peacock Feather Distress Ink. Then I used colored pencils to fill in the color a bit more. Then, my Faber-Castell PITT green gold pen to go over the letters. Then I outlined in black ink. Then I trimmed. Thhheeennnn.... the piece de resistance... I dug out my super old liquid applique to create the latte foam!! I used to LOVE this stuff. About 8 years ago. Ever wonder if it will still work after MANY MANY years sitting in a craft stash (and even moving from Texas to Georgia)? The answer is YES, IT DOES!! :-)
The background panel was super fun too. I mixed some of the same Peacock Feathers ink into my embossing paste, and spread it over the Hero Arts Zig Zag Pattern stencil. The blobs that look kind of brown in the photos are actually lovely, shimmery blobs of Gold Shimmer Spray. Nice.
