June 2021 My Monthly Hero Release + Blog Hop!

It's My Monthly Hero launch day at Hero Arts! This month's kit is so much fun - it's full of party animals, whooping it up to celebrate birthdays. I adore these cutie patootie cats and dogs! I played with one of the kitties for my card.

I created a slimline card by cutting my panel to 8.25"x3.25", which I then mounted on a card base created by folding an 8.5"x7.5" piece of cardstock in half. To create my little "scene" windows, I used the Alignment Tool Slimline Stencil to ink blend both Splash and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks, then I placed my Clouds & Grass Scenic Stencil down with the alignment stencil still in place, and ink blended on some Unicorn pigment ink.

The cat and balloons from the kit were colored with Copic markets, wtih a bit of white gel pen added for accent. Everything was popped up, I used allllll the foam tape!
