From Courtney's Closet #14 - an inspiration challenge

Sorry I'm posting this late today - but I am still on vacation, afterall. :-) We've had an interesting vacation so far, that's all I'll say about if for now - I'll give you a full update when we get back. I didn't have a chance to make a card to go with Courtney's dress this week, but I do plan to make one sometime soon and will include it in the next round-up. This photo is Courtney sitting on the Fish Pier in Chatham, MA on Cape Cod. We went there for prime viewing of the seals that live in the harbor (which were far more exciting for Courtney's big brother than they were for her!). I chose this particular dress for this week's challenge because it is red, white and blue. Ok, the blue is more of a turquoise than a patriotic blue, but still... Why red, white and blue this week, you ask? Well - I think this is a very exciting time for our country, with the Democrats nominating their candidate this week, and the Republicans next. I very much enjoy the political process, and just the fact that we get to *have* the process in this big, beautiful, free country of ours! No, you don't have to support the same political party as I do to play this challenge. You don't even have to live in this country! You just have to be inspired by the colors, or the pattern, or anything about this photo. Are you? Great, then get stamping!! And let me know what you come up with. If you upload to SCS, please use keyword FCCC. And please, I really don't want any negative comments on here about why you do or do not like one particular party or the other - this is just a fun stamping blog, people! ;-) Some awesome ladies had fun with my challenge last week!! Of course my girl Sue was at it again - I just love that she was inspired by Courtney's little "piggies" sticking out from under the dress!! Her card is so pretty with all the embossing, too.Diane played again too with this beauty - I see nothing wrong with this card, Diane! *wink*Ashley's card is just adorable with the little baby standing in the crib!!Vickilyn played again (hey that rhymed!) - not only did she include another of her cute crocheted flowers, but she also made the stick pin on this pretty card.Maria was on the same wavelength as Sue and also used vellum on her gorgeous card, love the embossing!Stacey shared this fantastic tone on tone creation with us!And just look at what Anita's daugther, Katie, came up with!! I just love it!!!Thank you all SO MUCH for playing, I love all of your gorgeous cards! And thanks to the rest of you for stopping by today, and for the super sweet birthday wishes I've been getting after my last post. You guys rock!
