April 2021 My Monthly Hero Release Blog Hop + Giveaway!

Hello friends! Today I'm hopping with Hero Arts as they launch the My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons for April. The style of this release is so cool! It's very graphic, inspired by geometric designs and kaleidoscopes. The kit contains three stencils that can be used on their own, rotated, or layered together to create endless designs! Here's a card I made using just one of the three stencils:


I used three shades of purple ink, then came in a fourth time with sparkle paste. With all of the inks colors and pastes out there, so many fun combinations can be made!


I also created a card with one of the add-on stamp sets and dies - Graphic Reef.


I watercolored the background, then colored the sailboat with pencils to add to the scene. I die cut some clouds from my stash.


And now it's time to hop and see what the other artists came up with! Hero Arts will give away one $50 gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, April 11th at 11:59pm pacific, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

    Hi, Libby - I am loving your cards. Some of the geo critters are a little too abstract for me, but I loved the sailboat right off. I also LOVE the stencils so I will definitely get and use the kit. I love the two cards you shared; thank you for letting them serve as inspiration!
