WSC45 and Blog Candy winner...

Big thanks to all of you who played along on my blog candy post - I loved reading all of your comments! I'm definitely not alone in the addiction department - we're pretty much all addicted to this hobby, huh? And your ideas for the name of my blog candy cracked me up! I still haven't settled on one, but will before the next time I do a giveaway! And speaking of giveaways... I used random.org to choose lucky number 13:

I think my favorite item is currently brads--I like the glimmery ones, but don't want to pay the price. A regular brad with some Frost Stickles on top (allowed to dry) is just as beautiful (and a lot cheaper).

Not sure what you should call the candy...maybe "Libby's Delight". :-)

Our winner even had a great tip for us - how cool is that!? Jean please send me an email with your address at stampinlibby@yahoo.com and I'll get your goodies shipped out asap!

For today's card I decided to play along with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge (WSC45) - it's a great sketch, I can see myself returning to it often! I pulled out two more of my newest spring arrivals from Hambo Stamps. This little chick tower is so cute, and I just love that sentiment to go with it. (side note about the sap in me - Beaches is one of my all-time favorite movies - still can't watch it without balling!) I think today's card is fairly self explanatory - only thing you can't really tell in the photo is that I added a little sparkle to the flower center (I can't help myself!) with my red & orange Spica glitter pens. That adorable polka dot ribbon is from American Crafts. Thanks for stopping by today!

Wish you were able to come to the Shoebox Swap in Arlington this weekend so we could finally meet IRL. Maybe next time? Of course, I have always wanted to check out Austin... :)

  4. I have color envy. Your coloring is fantastic. I've been picking up a few copic markers, one at a time almost, with my Hobby Lobby 40% coupon - I have aspirations of someday figuring these out. This card is so adorable!
