Veggies!

I made today's card for my Dad. We got him a gift certificate to a seed company for Christmas, so I wanted to put it in something decorated with veggies!

I pulled out a super duper old Stampin' Up set for this. I'm not even sure what the set was called, I don't have a label on it anymore - but the stamps say copyright 1998 on them. It's one of my few SU sets that's survived many, many massive stamp purges. Love these veggies! The little pocket for the gift certificate was cut out with my Silhouette, and I used my cute little MFT die for the banner.

Carter came into my stamp room while I was making the card and saw that I had some leftover stamped veggies and wanted to make a card for his Papa too. Isn't it lovely?

I told him I made my card so we could give Papa a gift certificate for seeds, so Carter wanted seeds in his card too. I took him down to the local nursery, and let him pick out what he thought Papa would like. I hope these carrots grow well for him, they are so cool!

Carter loves digging in the dirt with his Papa - too bad he's way up in Michigan and we're down here in Texas!

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend!

  4. Great veggie card, Libby! I used a newer veggie set by SU some months back and I think I even entered it at PDCC! I'm still loving that card....one of my faves.

Anyway, good for you for hanging on to that set!
